International Liszt Workshop 2010, Weimar

The 4th International Liszt Workshop  will take place in Weimar, Germany during the period 16-18 July 2010. In the frameworks of the Workshop experts representing institutions, festivals, national and international cultural organisations, engaged in promoting the Liszt oeuvre will meet to discuss initiatives, ideas and projects for the Liszt Jubilee Year in 2011.Thanks to the invitation announced by the President of the International Liszt Association, Prof. Dr. Detlef Altenburg, the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt will provide meeting rooms and programme.

The Workshop will focus on international co-operation. As the jubilee year draws nearer and nearer, we would like to take this opportunity to prepare the international projects as minutely as possible.There are two main topics that should be discussed:
1. Projects around research (conferences, exhibitions, "Liszt concert in Europe" project, etc.)
2. Projects with promoters (events, concerts, festivals, competitions, etc.)
